75 Phonogram Cards

The 75 phonograms have been placed into a developmental sequence.

The front shows the if the letter is a vowel or a consonant, how many sounds it can make and the shape your mouth makes.

The back has words using the sounds for each part of speech.

This helps teach the parts of speech and expand the child’s vocabulary.

Each card demonstrates in purple how to teach a rule for spelling, in orange how to teach the rule for reading and blue how it helps with comprehension.

There is a catchy story for each rule.

Children are excited when they find out “c” will always say “s”, when it is followed by e, i or y every single time and that there are no exceptions. Knowing this helps to read over 5000 words.
